Christmas Day

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We did! We decided to "sleep in" this year and wake up a little later...is 5:00 am better? Bret, Julie, Ayla, Marcie and I spent the night while Dena, Mike, and Lincoln slept at home but came over the next morning. We are running out of room! It was so fun to watch Ayla and Lincoln open their presents then fight over what the other one was playing with. Lincoln loved the Elmo Live we gave him and Ayla yelled out "WHOA!" when she saw her Barbie jeep from us. She has been driving it all weekend. Marcie and I finally got our quilts made by our mom! They are so pretty. We got great stuff and we are so blessed to have a wonderful, happy family!

We would like to say Happy Birthday to our SIL and BIL! That's right! They have the SAME birthday. We are so LUCKY to have such great in laws. We have a new shopping buddy (Julie, not Mike) and someone new to poke fun at (Mike, not Julie). Julie is always so willing to help out and we always have fun hanging out with her. For example, in the pic above we were doing karaoke and let's just say Julie can give Christina Aguilera a run for her money! Mike will always fix our car or hang something in our apartment for us whenever we ask. He is our go to fix it guy! We joke with him a lot and he is really good about it, but we only do it because we love him. He also teaches Holly Spanish (or espanól). Happy Birthday you two! Hope you have a great one!
