So Boring

We know it's been a while, but seriously nothing has happened. We've been really busy but it hasn't been anything fun. We haven't even watched Wednesday's American Idol. How bad are we? We have been babysitting Ayla because she has RSV and can't go anywhere. She is so cute and fun that it's so sad to hear her cough. The picture is of her getting her breathing treatment. She has to get so many a day and is usually quite good during it. Sometimes she cries, but no one cries more than Bridget watching her get it done. We have to tell Bridget that it doesn't hurt Ayla and that she is okay.
We had Dena's baby shower. It was a lot of fun and everything turned out real cute. She got so much stuff. Lincoln is set for his first year!
Now we are just gearing up for our cruise. So much to do!

We love American Idol!!

Now it is time to discuss the best of the best and, of course, the worst of the worst. First, we'll get our faves out of the way because that topic is not as fun as the baddies. We love Brooke Wright from Calif (originally from here). A coworker was her Young Woman's advisor so we got to keep her in the competition! Marcie likes the "finger nail" guy and we both liked the politician guy. He was a cute little nerd that sang really good. Now, for the good stuff. Marcie loves, loves, LOVES the guy in the mustard yellow suit. Did he even have all his teeth?! My personal fave was "No Sex Allowed" guy. The marching? And I wanted to hear the third verse! We've enjoyed the sparkle girl. What was her deal? Simon was nice to her and she went psycho! I liked Princess Leia. She kept saying she was a dork and they only pick people that look alike. Whatever. Then, there was the Jedi guy that waxed his chest. 'Nuff said with that one. Who was your fave? I'm sure you'll say tons of good ones that I just can NOT think of right now. My mind is blank. We want to know what everyone thinks so far!!

We LOVE Our Shows!!!

OK. So did anyone watch CarrieAnn vs. Bruno last night? WE LOVE ZACK!!!! He is so cute and a great dancer. We have to admit that we are leaning towards Bruno's group! He's got better dancers and they are good singers too. We'll have to see where this show goes from here. We know every week people vote and the team with the least votes kicks off a member. But does it go the the last person, or the last group? All I know is I love this show!
Now, American Gladiators. We must admit that we were very happy for the comeback of the youth pastor! Quite enjoyed him! And what a great time on the Eliminator! What about when the lady sent Helga flying? Loved it! We REALLY do NOT like Helga.
So tonight is the night! American Idol!!!! We can NOT wait for it. Granted, it's going to be the funny episode because it's the joke people. It starts out so funny but can get a little long. Make sure everyone watches it so we can get everyones opinions. When it gets to the top 10 we'll make a poll of whose going to win.

Breakfast Club

Our friend, Andi has been wanting us to see Anne of Green Gables FOREVER! She couldn't believe that we had never seen it before so we decided to do breakfast and a movie. It was so much fun! We ate a wonderful breakfast while we watched an even better movie. Now we are trying to decide when we are going to watch the next two Anne of Green Gables movies!

Happy Birthday, Mum!

My mom's b-day is this month so, in honor of her, here are the top 10 reasons we love her. (There is actually millions and millions of reasons why we love her but we narrowed it down to the top 10)
10. She is a great shopper.
9. She is a REALLY good cook. And she says all her children can come over and eat dinner whenever we want. (We take advantage of this every night.)
8. She takes care of Bridget (and us).
7. She's beautiful.
6. She has a strong testimony.
5. Ayla says she is the #1 grandma and loves playing with her.
4. She's funny. She once asked if you spell scissors with one or two z's.
3. She picks us up from work and takes us out to lunch.
2. She sews great. She will alter our clothes and has made everyone in the fam a quilt.
And the number 1 reason we love our mom.....
She has SOUL!!! (She also does a really good robot!)
So Happy Birthday, Mom. We love you!!!!

Happy New Year!

Can you believe another year has come and gone? It's so crazy. 2007 was a great year. We went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera, went to Utah and Las Vegas a few times, and had the BEST niece added to our fam. We have been so blessed and hope to continue to be blessed through 2008. Julie and Bret threw a New Year's party. We had sooo much fun!! There was enough food for an army and a little bit of everything too. There was Mexican food, sushi, shrimp, wings, cheese ball, cheese and crackers. And don't forget all the dessert that we had too. We played games and ate till midnight. Then when the clock struck midnight we had our horns, poppers with confetti, party hats, and sparkling cider ready. We were the only people out screaming and yelling so other people came out to stare. Thanks Julie and Bret for throwing the BEST party ever!! I'm counting down to next year. New Years Day we went to see Alvin and Chipmunks. It was pretty funny and we all enjoyed it. We wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you all have a wonderful 2008!
