Christmas came and went too fast!

Christmas is over :(!! We had so much fun. We got everything we asked for and then some! Christmas Eve was great. We had a Hawaiian theme and it turned out great (thanks Liles!) The food was good (love those chicken legs. Marcie, I think, ate 5!) And the entertainment was fantastic! The nativity was fun to watch. Jersie, as the star, was adorable! And Brad looked like the most wise man of all! After getting home and putting on our new Christmas pj's Bret reminded us that we would be waking up at 4:00 am as normal. And to our surprise our mom said to wake up at 5:00 am!!! She is always the one to get up super early. Well, we finally decided on 5:00 am unless Ayla woke up earlier. Guess what time that girl woke up? 4:00 am on the dot! Either Bret pinched her or she truly is a Burnham!! It was so fun to watch Ayla have her first Christmas. The last gift we got to open was season passes to Disneyland! We were so excited! Party at Disneyland. Everything was so perfect and so much fun.

Sunday before Christmas

Sunday we went to church with the fam so we could sing the Hallelujah Chorus. That's our fave. We all wore our Christmas dresses and looked H-O-T. Afterwards, our mom made a "special" Christmas dinner. It was so good and so fancy. Then we got pics by the tree. We had lot's of fun.

Scrap night!

Okay. So everyone got together at Dena's house to do some scrapbooking and play wii (by everyone I mean Mike, Dena, Bret, Julie, Ayla, Marcie and Holly). Dena made sandwiches for everyone and we had tons of fun. I started out all gung ho on scrapbooking and totally got distracted with taking pics of Marcie, Ayla, and me. Our own little photo shoot. I've included some of the lovely pics I took. Now Marcie is yelling at me to get back to work as I announced that I am "updating the blog."

We're finally blogging!!!

Can you believe it? We have started our own blog. We just hope it won't be over our heads! We will see how it works out. We attended our work Christmas Party last night and had a lot of fun! We got some great presents (Holly's favorite part) and enjoyed the white elephant gift exchange. Now we are counting down to Christmas and opening our presents! We love this time of year.
