We're BAAAACK!

Well, we are back! Boy, did we have fun! Why did we have to come home? Everything was so perfect. Because the Disneyland Hotel was under renovation they had to switch us to another hotel...the California Grand Hotel! This is the newest hotel that was built right next to California Adventure. There is even an entrance for the people staying there to go to California Adventure. Because we had such a large party (13 is a lot?) they put us in the Vice Presidential Suite! We were VIP! (not really but we keep telling ourselves we were) Our balconies overlooked Bear Rapids and it was so nice to run up to the room when we needed to. Especially when we rode the Bear Rapids! We would run up, change into our swimsuits (Marcie and I would put on ponchos and a shower cap. Yes, we were bringing sexy back!) and ride the ride about 5 times then go back to our room and change. Can we also tell you how nice it is to go to Disneyland with 3 (yes 3) handicap people! We were able to go through the exit for every ride! We are a little spoiled now and must take Bridget every time. The kids were great! They rode some rides, and slept the rest of the time. It was so fun to have grandma and grandpa with us too. It was just like old times!! Plus, they got the totally cool scooters to ride around on and at night, when they went back to the room, they let us borrow them. We got through the parks so fast and our feet weren't even hurting! Since we went 5 days we got to ride all the rides, but also take our time doing it. Not to mention all the churros! Holly had about 15!! Since we got so many pictures we will TRY to narrow it down. Sorry if there is so many, but we are a dang cute fam so there were so many to choose from! Thanks for taking us mom and dad and thanks for being babysitters a lot so we could go down at night and ride the roller coasters some more! Thanks to the whole fam for going (including grandma and grandpa)! We had the BEST time with EVERYONE! When do we go again?

Nothing New!

Our lives are so boring! We haven't done anything, but we hate having the last post up FOREVER!!! So this is a short post just so there is something new to read. Boring, we know. We had a Cinco de Mayo party at our parents and it was a lot of fun. We got party platters from Some Burros and they were delish! Everyone was there including our Grandma Burnham. It was so fun to see her and let her get out of the house. We just got some babysitting coming up, girls night out, pedicures, hair appts and then off to D-land! It will be so much fun. So here is a short post. Not exciting, but something new.

#1 Babysitters

We know! No post for over a week! But, we have been babysitting, babysitting, BABYSITTING!! Now that we have a niece AND a nephew we have been working nonstop at keeping them happy (and being the #1 aunts!) So here are the pics that we have taken while having TONS of fun with the kids...
Lincoln sleeping. What WONDERFUL babysitters!

We promise...He doesn't ALWAYS sleep!
This is basically what Marcie does while Holly does EVERYTHING else!!
Our SUPERSTAR!!
Eight seconds. Ride 'em Cowgirl!
Our little PRINCESS!

Holly got this shirt for Ayla. It says "Don't ya wish your auntie was hot like mine?". Holly thinks it sums everything up perfectly!
Double duty!!

The biggest baby that we babysit! (But the easiest!)

We did it!!! And SURVIVED!!

We walked Pat's Run/Walk today. We did it last year with people from work so we decided to do it again. It's tiring, but fun too. The weather was nicer this time so it was more enjoyable. There was about 17,000 people this year! Here are some pics of the day. We didn't get a picture of everyone because everyone was late due to traffic and parking. We are so glad we survived (we know, it's only 4.2 miles, but for some people-that's a lot!)

D-land in 1 day!

We did it again! We flew over to Disneyland for the day and boy did we have tons of fun! Bret and Julie went with us and we are so glad they did. We got to ride pretty much all the rides before it got BUSY!! I guess some schools still have Spring Break going so there were a lot of teenagers there. We were REALLY happy that Matterhorn was FINALLY open. That's one of our fave! We made Bret sit in front on Splash Mountain so he would get the most wet, and he did (check out the pics). At one point though, a big wave came over the side and got Julie and Holly soaking wet. Bret got an "It's my Birthday!" pin so EVERYONE told him happy birthday. He, of course, LOVED every minute of it! Thanks for coming Bret and Julie! We can't wait to go again!

Happy Birthday, Bud!

It's Bret's Birthday so we thought we would honor him by doing 5 reasons why we love Bret (one by each of his 5 moms!)

1. I remember when I was babysitting while my parents were out of town (I was in high school)so I decided to watch Sixth Sense. When the movie ended I was freaked out! I was sobbing and could NOT go to bed. Bret stayed up with me all night to comfort me and put in a funny movie so I wouldn't be scared. Thanks, Bret! -Dena

2. There are so many things that I can put, but I have narrowed it down to two. 1. Team Burnhamup. 'Nuff said. 2. This boy LOVES movies! He will watch them anytime. And he loves any kind. I love that he will watch action/adventure, "chick flicks", musicals w/dancing and kids movies. I love watching them with him! Live Long Dragon Knight! -Holly

3. One thing I love about Bret is he loves to sing. He will sing anywhere, and out loud (very loud). He got singing lessons for his b-day last year and he got really good! My favorite song he sings is Lily's Hazel Eyes. Ask him to sing it sometime for you! (He even closes his eyes!) -Marcie

4. I love Bret because he has always been my favorite brother! We have always had a special bond and I love to sit next to him with his arm around me. He was never been ashamed of me in front of his friends and even let me sit with him in primary. When he was on his mission he and the other elders had a Fourth of July party. They each had to say one thing they missed the most from home. Bret said me! I love you, Bret! -Bridget

5. I love Bret because he has the neatest bulletin board in his (old) room. It had all his tickets when he went to General Conference, a card from Grandpa Burnham before he died, a list of all the names for Christ throughout the scriptures and his testimony on golden plates. I love the things that he has collected growing up. He also ALWAYS says I Love You when he says bye.
-Mom
WE LOVE YOU, BRET!!! Have a Happy Birthday!

Lincoln's Blessing

Lincoln was blessed on Sunday. Everything went really well. Mike did a great job and, of course, Lincoln looked so cute! Here's a pic of the great day. You can't see Lincoln very well, but trust us, he was cute!
