John Mayer...Again!

Bret Dennen and Colbie Calliet

Mr Wonderful aka John Mayer
Well, we went to another John Mayer concert. That man is BEAUTIFUL!! He has his new buzz haircut and his totally buff bod and he was lookin' good! It was such a fun concert because it was everyone from the cruise. We got to see our old friends Bret Dennan and Colbie Calliet perform again. We have decided that this is the BEST we have seen John perform. He did so good. He sang a lot of his hits, plus he sang other artists' songs like Tom Petty and Sweet Child of Mine by Guns 'N Roses. He even danced like Axl Rose. He rocks. We had extra fun because our friend/hairstylist, Chelsea, sat 2 rows behind us! Crazy times. Oh! And no Jennifer Aniston sighting (we looked). Too bad!

Bowling Night!

Friday night we went bowling for Mareen's birthday. We had so much fun! Holly beat her high score (she went from 79 to an 85!) And Marcie did awesome with a 130 on her second game! Here is some pics from the great night!

Mamma Mia!

We have been counting the days until Mamma Mia came out in the theaters and it finally came! We went with Dena and our mom to the midnight showing and although we are extremely tired the next day, we had so much fun. We LOVED the movie! We loved the music, the actors, and the costumes. We've seen the play twice and although the movie added some things and took out some songs it still followed the musical pretty well. We REALLY recommend EVERYONE go see it, and if you need someone to go with- call us! We can't wait to see it again.

Happy Birthday, Ayla!

Can you believe it? Our first niece (and fave niece) is 1! She has grown so much and is such a joy in our lives. She is so fun and we love to spoil her rotten! Happy Birthday, Ayla! We love you! This last weekend has been CRAZY! We went to dinner and opened Ayla's presents on Thursday. She then spent the night for the first time at her aunties' house. We had so much fun with her! We took her to breakfast and went to the mall with her. We then had ANOTHER b-day party for her. (The girl has got to learn that the Burnhams celebrate their b-days ALL month long!) We BBQed, had cake, and opened more presents. She then spent the night AGAIN at her aunties' (we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do with her). We woke up the next day and went swimming. She was so fun and we are glad she got to spend the nights.

Happy Birthday, DAD!

It's our dad's 59th b-day and we just want to give him a shout out! Here are five fabulous things about our father!
1. He went to France on his mission and has recently went back to visit. Because of this, we can NOT say the "f-word" (meaning France or French) anywhere within earshot of him. If we do, he begins to speak to everyone in French, whether they speak it or not!
2. He will do anything for us. When we were in junior high we got concert tickets to Paula Abdul and Color Me Badd. It was out at Cricket (an outdoor arena) in JULY! Can you say H-O-T! My dad drove us out there and sat in his truck ALL night why were dancing an having fun at the concert. He never once complained either. Thanks dad!
3. He has a great testimony and has raised us to make good decisions. He has always been an example to us and enjoys sharing stories that he has read or heard about the gospel.
4. He is deaf in one ear. He makes up the weirdest things that people say because he can't hear them! Once, a girl said she worked in Human Resources and he later made a comment about her working in jewelry!
5. He loves to have fun with his family. Whether it is going on a great vacation or just hanging at home he will pretty much do anything to hang out with us. He even came to our Camp Rock party even though he did NOT want to!
Je t'aime, pere! Bon Anniversaire!

So many things in 1 post!

We have a lot of little things to blog about so we're putting them into one post! First of all, Happy Father's Day! Our dad is wicked awesome and we LOVE him tons! He does so much for us and we really appreciate him.

Next, Happy Anniversary to our parents! It's been 36 blissful years! Plus, they had us :) We'd also like to thank Dena for the blog makeover. Dena, you made our blog as cute as us! Thanks!
We had G.N.O. last week and had tons of fun! Thanks to those who could come and we missed the ones that could not make it. It was very laid back and casual. Playing Wii is always fun. Check out the pics of how intense everyone is!

Last, we got tagged! It was a really long tag and would've taken our whole blog page because we are supposed to do it separately. So, we each picked a category and we will answer that category. Marcie picked 8 Songs I can listen to over and over again and never get sick of:

4. Please Don't Go Girl by New Kids On The Block
5. Shame by Matchbox 20
6. Thriller by Michael Jackson
7. Cold Hearted Snake by Paula Abdul
8. Can't Stop by Maroon 5
Holly picked 8 Things I want to do before I die
1. Ride a sit down lawn mower.
2. Fly first class.
3. Own a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.
4. Buy a house.
5. Travel to Prauge.
6. Visit New York.
7. See NKOTB in concert (check that off soon)
8. Drive a smart car.

RECAP!

Did everyone think we forgot about our blog? NO! We've been super busy and haven't had time to update.
Memorial Day weekend was great fun! Amy (our bestest friend from Utah) came down to visit. We haven't seen her since Feb. and we missed her so much. We always have so much fun when we get together. All we do is laugh, laugh, laugh. We went to a resort to chill and relax. We stayed by the pool all weekend and it was great. On Memorial Day we went to Sprinkles Cupcakes and it was so good! We got a dozen so we could try every kind. They were HEAVEN! Carrot cake and banana nut was Holly's fave. We also did TONS of shopping, maybe too much, in fact. (If that is possible). Sadly, Amy had to go home and we had to go back to work.

Another great thing that we have done is....we got New Kids on the Block concert tickets! YAHOO! Anyone who knows us, knows we LOVE them. We had all the cassettes, videos, shirts, fanny packs, water bottles, you name it we had it! We also had our room covered with posters! I know, we were/are nerds, but they rock! And after 15 yrs they are having their reunion tour. It's going to be so fun.
