Our New Best Friends!

Well, we had a good weekend. What did we do? Oh we just hung out with the BACKSTREET BOYS! No, that is not a misprint. We hung out with the Backstreet Boys! It was a little bittersweet because we got tickets to go to the concert, and Marcie and I got tickets to do a sound check with them, meet them and get our pics with them. (Dena was meeting us for the concert only.) Marcie and I got there and we were waiting to go in to meet them, but they kept saying the boys were running behind. When they finally brought us into the lobby they told us Nick (Holly's fave) was sick and that the concert was canceled! WHAT?! At this point some girls are crying, and we are wondering what we are going to do. They said that the 3 remaining members (Brian, A.J., and Howie) would still do the sound check, Q & A, sign autographs, and get their pics with us. It was the coolest thing ever! There was only about 50-60 people and it was so neat! They were so personable and funny. We had like our own private concert! (front row, no less) Then they answered questions, signed a poster and CD, then we got our pic with them. Brian told Marcie that her shirt was cute and they called me Sparkle Girl! That's right, the boys gave me a nickname! I could tell they LOVED us!!! So even though there was no concert and we didn't get to see Nick, we still had loads of fun! Don't worry we narrowed the pics down so we wouldn't have all 500 that we took!

Let's Go To The MOVIES!

We went to the midnight showing of Twilight. It was GREAT! We went with Dena, Bret and Julie. We heard people were getting to the theater early (even though they had their tickets already) so we left at 9:00 pm to get in line. We all looked so cute in our Twilight shirts (Dena got a few rude comments on her Team Jacob shirt. FYI- She likes Edward with Bella, she just really likes Jacob too.) After standing in a line that stretched around the WHOLE building they sat us in the theater about 9:45 pm and we had to wait, wait, and wait till midnight. We were getting so tired and bored. Finally, after 20 min of trailers the movie started. Aside from a few cheers when it started and when Edward was first on the screen the teenage girls (and boys and moms) were surprisingly good. Then after 2 (very) fast hours the movie ended. We wanted it too keep going! It was so good and followed the book pretty well. So, at 2:30 am we sadly walked to our car knowing in 2 short hours we would be waking up for the day. Was it worth it? Heck YES! Dena, Bret, and Julie thanks for coming with us! We had loads of fun with you guys. And it was fun to see so many familiar faces at the theater too! A picture of us in our cute shirts will be posted soon!

It's a LONG post!

It's been such a BUSY month! Hopefully we can remember everything we did!

First, we went to So You Think You Can Dance concert. It was 3 hours of great dancing. They did EVERY dance we loved from the season and then some. It was a lot of fun.

Then, we went to the New Kids On The block concert! We had SOOOO much fun! We have waited so long to see them in concert and they did NOT disappoint! They sang and dance for 2 hrs straight! Marcie even got to touch her fave, Joey! We loved every minute of it.

We got to go to D-land for the Trick or Treat. It was a blast! Everyone dressed up and we got to trick or treat, ride the rides, dance, and meet TONS of characters. It wasn't even crowded! It was an exhasuting 3 day trip, but TOTALLY worth it.Everyone knows we are HUGE High School Musical fans. We were so excited when HSM3 came out. We saw it 3 times in 5 days. Then we went again a week later. It was the best one (they are all good though). We can't wait for it to come out on video. We love Troy Bolton!
Halloween was loads of fun, too. Everyone at work is so good about dressing up so we all looked so cute.
Marcie and I were also in a car accident. It was on the way to work and luckily, it was just a fender bender. Poor BLT (my car)! She already has got a new bumper and she looks better than ever!

Adventures in Babysitting!

OK, we know it's been awhile (again). But you all know what that means...we've been babysitting! We had Lincoln for two nights...Can you say no sleep? Now I know why I am not married with kids. He woke up EVERY SINGLE HOUR!!! But then he would look at us and smile and we would melt! He was SO good in the day though and we DID survive.

Ayla has spent the night a few times and what a difference! Last time she slept from 9:30pm till 9:00 am! She is getting so crazy and doing the funniest stuff. She is getting quite the personality! Here is some pics from are many babysitting adventures!

Ayla kept sitting in between the legs of our high chairs. Then she would look at us and smile.

This boy LOVES to eat chocolate!

Ayla loves to watch The Wiggles in her very own chair!

Check out this cutie! He has on a new outfit, including boots and "Newsies" hat!

This is Ayla's new picture face! She is in her new outfit and hat too.

Ayla thought she was a supermodel in this dress. She is doing her picture face again!
